BAUBLES FROM BONES

My poem “Dark Artistry” is in Issue 7 of Baubles from Bones! This quarterly Pittsburgh-based magazine is so beautifully managed, with an emphasis on fantasy and sci-fi poems and short stories. The cover art by Lucas Kurz is gorgeous, and I’ve got to boost the editorial team.

This might be the best experience I’ve ever had with a small ‘zine!

Elyse and Joel were so proactive and energetic, keeping me in the loop throughout the publishing process. If you have the opportunity to submit a poem or short story here, I highly recommend it. If you’re a new writer hoping to publish your own work, check out my “Writing Resources” page!

My poem "Dark Artistry" is in this issue of the literary magazine Baubles from Bones.

This poem was a weird one inspired by my search one year for a birthday gift for my husband. You ever really end up down a rabbit hole while gift searching? This time, I found myself on a strange local antique shop’s website, cruising their stock. One item that really wedged in my mind was a vintage billiard ball made (allegedly) of real ivory.

To read another poem or two I’ve had published, check out my other publications at my “Books” page. And if you’d like to keep up with my publishing journey, subscribe to my newsletter!
